My military experience includes:
Three tours as a combat pilot during the Vietnam War
Command and staff positions from Infantry Platoon Leader to Deputy Director Unified Command
Instructor at the Army Primary Helicopter School, the Army Armor School at Fort Knox, and Assistant Professor of Military Science at The University of Tennessee
My final tour of active duty was as The Inspector General (Kentucky National Guard)
During a 30-year career, Frank held numerous command and staff positions from Infantry Platoon Leader to Deputy Director of Personnel, Manpower and Support at the Unified Command. He completed Army Aviation training in 1964 and served three tours in Vietnam as a combat pilot from 1965 to 1973.
Frank also earned an M. S. Degree in Education Administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, followed by a tour as Assistant Professor Of Military Science at that University.
He later served as the US Army representative to the Personnel Department of the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force. His final active duty assignment was as the Inspector General for the Kentucky National Guard.
